Q: How do I become a member?
A: Membership registration can be completed in-person at our Leisure Travel Guest Services office in the Visitor Center, Mon - Thurs: 8 AM - 11 AM.

A: Tue – Fri: 3 PM – 7 PM | Sat: 4 PM – 8 PM | Sun: 12 PM – 4 PM
Q: How does the membership card work?
A: Once you register, you will receive a membership (MWR) card. You will use that card to get on base, as well as check-in at the swipe station when you arrive at the Picatinny Lodge.
Q: Can I bring my family?
A: Yes! Your membership covers everyone in your immediate family.
Q: How do I bring guests?
A: With your membership, you get a Guest Punch Pass that allows you to bring along up to five guests. We suggest guests come in the same vehicle as members, or in a vehicle directly behind them. If a guest is there for an event, their name will be put on a list at the Main Gate in advance.
Q: What do guests need to bring when they come?
A: Guests must bring a REAL ID to get onto the base. If guests do not have a REAL ID, they must show two forms of identification: US Passport or Passport Card, US Military ID (active duty, retired, or reserve), Department of Defense ID, Veteran’s Health Verification Card, Native American Tribal ID, Birth Certificate, or Social Security Card.
Q: How do I get extra guest passes or membership cards?
A: If you need additional passes or cards, they can be purchased from the Leisure Travel Guest Services office for $25 each.
Q: Do I need an extra membership (MWR) card if I’m already on base?
A: No. extra membership cards are only needed if you have no other method for getting onto base.
Q: Is there a membership price for Veterans?
A: The Membership rate for Veterans falls under the Standard Family Rate.
Q: Is there a membership price for Retired Military?
A: The Membership rate for Retired Military falls under the Officer Family Rate.
Q: What amenities do I have access to?
A: As a member, you have full access to the amenities available at Picatinny Lodge.
Q: What events can I attend?
A: As a member, you are able to attend all events, except privately booked ones. You cannot attend the “Member Events” listed on the Events Calendar if you are not a member.
Q: How do I book a private event?
A: If you are interested in booking a private event, please contact us at: usarmy.theclubpica@army.mil.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks?
A: They are only allowed for private events when they have been pre-approved by our Food & Beverage Office. All other times, outside food and drinks are prohibited.
Q: Are food and drinks available for purchase?
A: Yes! We have a menu of curated bites and signature cocktails available for purchase at the Picatinny Lodge.
Q: Are there time limits on areas/the firepits?
A: There are no set time limits, but we do ask that you are considerate of others who may also want to use these shared spaces.
Q: Can I fish off the deck?
A: No. All types of fishing, including magnet fishing, are STRICTLY prohibited.
Q: What if I already have a membership with the Rod and Gun Club?
A: A Picatinny Lodge membership can be added to your existing Rod and Gun Club membership for an additional monthly fee.
Q: Can I pay for my membership is one lump-sum?
A: No. Memberships are billed monthly and are a 12-month commitment.
