The Picatinny Before and After School program operates in building 3156 from September until June. It includes indoor activities such as
- Science
- Arts and Crafts
- Homework Center
- Computer Lab
The program also provides services during school holidays and teacher in-service days in accordance with the Rockaway Township school calendar. Children attending the Rockaway Township Schools are bused to and from the program. Those outside of the district must be transported by the parent. Hours of operation for the before and after school programs and the summer camp program are 7:00 am- 5:00 pm, daily.
- Full Day Kindergarten

Picatinny's School Age Center operates a Full-Day Kindergarten Program in Building 3156. Children must be 5 years of age by October 1, 2021 in order to register for the program.
A 10% non-refundable deposit of the first month's payment will be required to hold the space until September. The deposit will be credited toward the first month's tuition. A $100 book fee will also be required prior to first day of school. Please call the School Age Center Director at 973-724-5555 for more information about this program.
Children must be 5 years of age by 1 October 2021.

The Picatinny CYS School Age Center also operates a nine week Junior and Senior Camp Program for school aged children. The program includes:
- Swimming
- Field Trips
- Arts and Crafts
- Outdoor activities
- Computer Lab

Army School Age Centers provide care during
Children have access to computer labs and can receive help on daily homework assignments. Programs are nationally accredited and utilize standard curriculum through formal partnerships with nationally-recognized organizations such as 4-H and Boys & Girls Club of America (BGCA).
