Salt Water Fishing Trip

The Picatinny Saltwater Sportsman Club has scheduled its 2019 annual ocean fishing trip for Friday August 9, 2019 on Captain Kevin Bradshaw's Dorothy B sailing from the Atlantic Highlands NJ Municipal Marina.

The primary target species will be Fluke, with the possibility of Bluefish and Black Sea Bass. A chartered bus will depart 6:15 AM sharp from the Rockaway Town Square Mall Park-N-Ride lot adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn. Bus plans to be back at Park & Ride at 3 PM.

The boat's planned schedule: Leave dock 0800, back at dock 1230. The trip will go rain or shine, so bring appropriate clothing, rain gear and sunscreen. Also important to bring plenty of water/beverages and some food, especially if hot weather is forecast.

The total cost of the trip is $62.50 per person which includes gratuity. Bus transportation, rods, and bait are included in the fare. Feel free to bring bait as well. 

Purchase tickets online. The fare is non-refundable.

There will be a limit of 40 passengers on the boat to assure that there will be plenty of room for everyone to fish comfortably. Notify Dave 973-724-2773 or Walt 973-902-8343 if you will NOT be taking the bus and also specify when making your reservation.

Recommend you provide a contact cell phone number to Dave or Walt. Capt. Kevin will make the ultimate decision whether to cancel/change the trip departure in the event of hazardous inclement weather conditions.

Please note: Dorothy B's policy is to allow a very limited amount of beer and absolutely no hard liquor at all. All Federal, State and local applicable laws, rules and regulations will be strictly enforced relating to consumption of alcohol on the vessel.

The Dorothy B has a Zero Tolerance Drug Policy by order of the U.S. Coast Guard, it is Strictly Enforced. If you cannot get on trip because it is full, notify Dave or Walt, there may be a way on through the waiting list.

Payment can be made online or at the LTS Bldg 34.

The trip is non-refundable if you cancel. There is a limit of 40 passengers.
